How do I register for Opus IVSU?

Opus IVSU is reserved for active customers with subscription based products. If you would like to request access, please use the Contact Us page. The Opus IVSU team will review your request and provide access if qualified.

What if I forgot my user name or email?

Click the “Support & FAQ” button at the top right of the homepage and use the Contact Us submission form to request information. The Opus IVSU team will review your request and provide access if qualified.

What if I forgot my password?

Click the “Forgot your password” link on the Opus IVSU home page. You will need to input a valid email address or username and click submit. You will receive an email with information on how to reset your password. If you do not receive an email, please use the Contact Us submission form for review.

How do I complete and pass a course?

Courses are considered complete when you have watched all the lessons in their entirety and successfully pass any check point questions with an 80% or better pass rate.

Can I start a course and return later to complete it?

Opus IVSU is designed to provide training access 24/7, which allows you to learn at your own pace, whenever it is convenient for you. Each lesson will automatically check off as complete once the related content has been completed. Each video lesson remembers where you left off so when you return to that lesson you don't need to start the video over.

Can I take courses I’ve already completed again?

You can re-take courses as many times as you wish if you have an active enrollment in that course.

What information can I view about my team?

Administrators can manage users in their group from the "Dashboard" page. You can see who is active, courses assigned, assignment progress, etc. The administrator of the account can also add and remove users from the account. If you need to add another administrator to the account, please use the Contact Us submission form to request access.

The videos I'm trying to watch won’t load?

This might be related to internet bandwidth limits. Close any programs that are currently using internet access. Programs that may slow video play include file sharing, music, and video streaming.

  • Try disconnecting and reconnecting to the Internet or switching from a wireless to an Ethernet connection.
  • Try another web browser

What equipment do I need to take an online course?

We recommend checking your computer to make sure it meets the standard system requirements below

  • Windows or Mac computer
  • PC users: Windows XP or later; Windows 2003 Server or later
  • Mac users: Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) or later
  • Internet connection (broadband is best)
  • Speakers (built-in or USB headset)
  • Opus IVSU can also be used on iPhone/iPad/Android smartphone or tablets
  • Please make sure your browser is updated to the most recent version to ensure optimal performance.

What if I can’t hear anything?

Follow these steps to troubleshoot potential issues with your speakers:

  • Make sure your computer speakers are on and the volume is turned up.
  • Test your speaker setup with another program. Click Audio Setup in the Audio Pane to select the correct device. Mac users should click the speaker icon in the Audio Pane to select the correct device.
  • Check the volume setting under Audio Setup. Click Speakers Setup and then click Play Sound. Adjust the slider bar to the desired volume.
  • Check your internet connection to ensure your connection is good.

Additionally, we rely on third parties to ensure a solid video streaming experience. If you sit behind a corporate firewall, you will not be able to view videos or HD Broadcasts unless you have the following domains whitelisted. Please pass these to your IT department to have them added to your whitelist.
